The end of the year and the Christmas period not only provide an opportunity for individuals and communities to reflect on the past year, to rest, and to make plans for the year ahead. It is equally important to pay attention to one another and to take care of those who need it the most.
Social responsibility has long been a widely used concept in the corporate environment. However, while for some this is merely a formality, others take this type of responsibility seriously.
For Tisza Automotive, it is extremely important not only to provide jobs for its colleagues, but also to be an active part of the communities in which it operates and to support the local community and citizens to the greatest possible extent. An integral part of this is paying attention to the most vulnerable groups, especially children.
In this spirit, as in previous years, at the end of 2023 we once again prepared New Year gift packages and donated them to associations and foundations that support people who need it the most.
As part of this year’s initiative, we distributed nearly 300 packages, not only in the municipalities where our company is actively present, but also in other settlements in northern Vojvodina.
In Senta, we provided gift packages to the Ruka u ruci Foundation and to the “Friends of Children” organization of the Municipality of Senta.
In Kikinda, we joined the humanitarian initiative of Olivera Urošević and her husband, within which we delivered packages to the local hospital, and with our gift packages we also participated in the municipal initiative called the Wish Box.
The Bečej Youth Association (BUM) organized a campaign called Santa Claus for Everyone, within which we distributed gift packages to children in disadvantaged circumstances in Bačko Petrovo Selo.
For many years, we have successfully cooperated with the Municipality of Bečej, and together with the municipal president Vuk Radojević, we donated gift packages to children with developmental disabilities and their companions at the institution “Naša čuvarkuća.” In addition, our packages also reached the Center for Social Welfare in Bečej, where children in disadvantaged situations, victims of domestic violence, and children in foster care received gift packages.
In addition to our three locations—Senta, Bečej, and Kikinda—we also donated packages to the homes of the “Lurkofeszek Poverello” Foundation in Hajdukovo, Bečej, and Dreja, and we also took part in a charitable campaign organized by a motorcycle club in Novi Kneževac.
We believe that even with this small gesture we were able to contribute to making Christmas more beautiful and more intimate for everyone involved. In the coming period, we are planning a series of other initiatives, the focus of which will also be on people belonging to the above-mentioned vulnerable groups.
